At the Rhode Island Historical Society, we believe that through our state’s compelling history an endless trail of fascinating stories, entertaining adventures, and instructive experiences can be followed.

Becoming a member of the Rhode Island Historical Society offers you much more than free admission to our museums – at also gives you access to our Concerts Under the Elms series, a host of special events, and much more. There are a range of membership levels to meet your needs, and gift memberships are available at every level.

Rates


Individual.......................$40

  • Offers free admission for one person to the Society's museums, Library, and summer concert series
  • Free or discounted admission to the Society’s programs and events.
  • 12 month subscription to RI History Journal and News and Notes Newsletter.
  • Discounts on gift shop purchases, tickets for Benefit Street historical walking tours, and research and program fees.

Senior Individual.......................$35

Same as above for one person age 65 & older.


Dual.......................$50

Same as above for two people.


Dual Senior.......................$45

Family.......................$60

*The RIHS Library is free to all RI residents, but nonresident patrons pay $8.00, or $5.00 for students and seniors.
